Change is
a measure of time and, in the autumn, time seems speeded up. What was is not
and never again will be; what is, is change – Edwin Teale
As the
world turns, the seasons change, and so we find ourselves once again standing
on the beautiful auburn doorstep of autumn.
Sure, days
spent frolicking on the beach and licking melting ice-cream form sticky fingers
are numbered, but who can be sad when faced with a season with such abundant
beauty and produce?
This
season, keep a lookout for the following produce:
Pears,
figs, Feurte avocados, green asparagus, guavas, limes, plums, quinces,
raspberries, clementine’s, naartjies and satsumas.
I have been fortunate enough to prepare the wedding cupcakes for my sister's wedding recently. It was a nerve-wrecking experience, but one that I will cherish forever. Next time you can look forward to the recipe for my wedding cupcakes, as well as some of the pic's ;-)
Until next time readers, happy cooking!
